Hello!  I am Kathleen. 

I am so happy you found me.

Photography is a big part of my life.  For as long as I can remember I have been drawn to the power of a great family photograph.  One of my most favorite photos is from my childhood.  It is of my sister and me along with our parents, standing in front of our station wagon. The clothes, the hair styles, the car, the Band-aid on my shin all bring me right back to that time.  Such is the power of a photo.

Family photography is something that I am passionate about.  It’s not about the perfect location, the perfect clothes or even the prefect day. For me it’s about the connection.  I love capturing the love and essence of a family.  

I am all about family, just ask anyone who knows me! Perhaps that’s why photographing families brings me so much joy. 

I think I can honestly say that “I get it” when it comes to family dynamics.  I have been married for over 39 years.  We have five grown children.  They have added 2 sons-in law, a daughter in law and 8 adorable grandchildren. 

These people fill my world. 

We come together once a year to take pictures of the whole family.  It’s not easy coordinating schedules and logistics, but somehow we pull it together.  It’s always kind of messy and loud, but in the end we capture our love and connection and that makes me happy.
